1. ABOUT US
The Internet shop www.maasa.lv is managed by MAASAS Ltd.: Reg. No. 40103584176, registered office “Rožkalni”, Dāviņu pagasts, Bauskas novads,Latvija, LV-3913, hereinafter referred to as MAASA.
The order of shopping in the online shop www.maasa.lv is regulated by the laws and regulations of the Republic of Latvia and the “Regulations on the Distance Contract” (hereinafter – the Regulations), which stipulate the terms of purchase and return of goods, as well as the right of withdrawal.
These Conditions of Use apply to all transactions in which the Customer deals with MAASA. When placing an order, the Customer automatically accepts the MAASA Conditions of Use.

4. HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER
To place an order, the Customer should follow the online purchase procedure and click on “Authorise the payment”. The Customer then receives an email confirming that the order (“Order Confirmation”) has been received. In the email, the Customer receives a notification that the order has been sent (“Shipment Confirmation”).
Those prices that are indicated on MAASA website are valid at the time of your purchase.
6. STORAGE OF CONTRACT DATA
MAASA stores your data. If you want to print the order, you can do so through the Order List for the registered users. It will appear on the screen when you will have submitted your order to MAASA by clicking the “Confirm” button.
In addition, you will receive an email confirmation of your order by providing all the input data that can be printed out.
7. DELIVERY TERMS
The Customer’s order will be sent by Omniva, DPD or Latvijas Pasts, depending on its destination. MAASAS Ltd. is responsible for potential transport risks.
Depending on your destination, the goods will be ready for shipment within 2 business days after receipt of the payment to MAASA bank account. Unless otherwise stated, the delivery will take place within 1 to 10 business days to the delivery address indicated by the Customer, depending on the delivery method chosen and the place of delivery. More detailed information is available in the section: Delivery.
In cases where the goods have not been delivered to the Customer due to the fault of its postage (courier) service staff, MAASA shall reimburse the Customer for the value of the goods and the delivery only after MAASA has received a confirmation of a loss or refund from the postal service.
Customers can use a credit card, debit card, PayPal or advance payment for their purchases. More detailed information is available in the section: Payment.
9. RETURN POLICY
9.1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The Customer can exercise the right of withdrawal within 14 (fourteen) days from the moment of reception of the Order by completing the notice on the exercise of the right of withdrawal and submitting it to the respective merchant as a written confirmation of the withdrawal of the Order.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer shall inform MAASAS Ltd., by e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org about the decision to withdraw from this Contract with a clear statement.
In order to comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient for the Customer to send a notice about the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.
9.2. CONSEQUENCES OF WITHDRAWAL
If the Customer terminates this Contract, MAASA will reimburse all payments received from the Customer, including delivery costs to the original delivery address (excluding any additional costs incurred by the Customer as a result of the delivery, except those offered by MAASA) without undue delay and in any case not later than within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of receipt of the information about the Customer’s decision to terminate this Contract and the receipt of the returned item. MAASA will make the refund by the payment method used by the Customer for the original transaction. Notwithstanding the aforementioned, MAASA may withhold the refund until we have recovered the goods or if the Customer has not confirmed that the goods were shipped by selecting the fastest delivery method.
The goods must be returned no later than within 14 (fourteen) days from the date when the Customer notified MAASA about their decision to terminate this Contract. This deadline is met if the goods are returned before the end of the 14-day period.
The Customer shall be liable for any depreciation of the goods’ value that may occur during the time of transfer, determining the type, characteristics and functioning of the original goods.

9.3. COMMON PROVISIONS
The Customer shall have the right to cancel the Contract only for the goods that are returned in the same condition as received by the Customer. Refund is not made if the item is used, for items that are not in the same condition as they were delivered or if they are damaged. When returning the goods, place them in the original packaging, together with instructions and other documents, if any.
The content of www.maasa.lv website – logos, graphic materials, photos, video materials, textual materials, software layout is the property of MAASA. Reproduction of these materials without written consent is prohibited.
11. LEGAL WARRANTIES
If a dispute arises in connection with the concluded distance contract and the website www.maasa.lv, it is resolved by negotiation. If the situation cannot be solved by negotiation, it shall be resolved in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Latvia.
12. OTHER PROVISIONS MAASA has the right to amend and clarify these terms at any time by publishing the relevant changes on the website and indicating the date of the latest changes. Any changes made to these Terms and Conditions shall take effect immediately after the publication. Continuing to use the MAASA website and placing orders, the Customer automatically agrees to the changes made.
